Triticum Aestivum, more commonly known as Wheatgrass, is a natural product and is cultivated by ourselves in Newport. Its taste has been likened to that of liquorice and sugar snap peas and has even been described as having a citrus and floral flavour, similar to parsley. Wheatgrass has been cultivated for over 5000 years and is famous for its rejuvenating and alkalising properties. Wheatgrass juice is very effective in promoting a smooth digestion process as it is high in fibre. Wheatgrass juice re-establishes and maintains the fine balance of bacteria levels in the digestion system which is crucial in sustaining the ideal environment for the good bacteria to develop and thrive, thus making it harder for the harmful bacteria to survive.
